As a fitness industry veteran of more than 20 years I’ve amassed multiple certifications from
the top leaders of the industry including NASM CPT, ACE CPT, PPSC (Pain-free Performance
Specialist certification), and more.
I’ve studied Biology from MITx (Massachusetts Institute of Technology Distance learning) and
Cell Biology: specializing in the mitochondria of hepatocytes (metabolism) from HARVARDx.
My curiosity led me to seek out more and more information from disparate sources such as a
myriad of books, podcasts, lectures, in person conversations with educators and physicians,
and multiple experiments on myself (complete with blood work). These experiments included:
fasting - intermittent and extended, ketogenic, plant based, the Croissant diet (that was fun), a
3 year long foray into the carnivore diet, and many more.
In the last 3 years alone I’ve led over 6,000 one-on-one training sessions with the intention to
evolve my craft with each session. My clients range from teen athletes and relatively fit/ unfit

In my 40’s I watched my Dad die from diabetes and heart disease and lost my Mom to cancer.
Both of these instances sparked my interest in longevity and health span to make sure I don’t
put my kids through the same experience. Now in my 50’s with two teenage daughters and a
wife of 20 years I’m in the best shape of my life by every objective marker.
Personal training was once a background hobby to my career as Restaurant Operations
Specialist where I’ve opened 18 restaurants. As I grew wiser I realized which was not only more

Health Coach, Certified Personal Trainer

ACE Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Group Fitness Instructor, Functional Training, Mobility Training, Weight loss, HIIT, Nutrition Coaching It began when I was 20 and weighed over 300 lbs. I was depressed, disconnected, insecure, and hopeless. I didn’t know how to change…but I was tired of how I felt and believed that there was more I had to offer to myself and the world. I began exploring the world of fitness and nutrition, and soon after fell in love with it. I lost over 100 pounds, fixed my disordered eating habits, and discovered an unbelievable amount of potential inside myself that had been waiting to surface under the right circumstances. My journey of studying fitness and nutrition has led me to studying the human organism as a whole, and I have spent the last 7 years learning how to connect to our innate human superpowers and learning ways of living that connect us to those powers to fulfill our social, spiritual, and physical needs. My mission is an unwavering dedication to studying, learning, and teaching our biological needs as humans in an effort to help us live more connected, fulfilled, and happy lives.

Originally from Texas, I grew up playing every sport that I could. Over time, my love for the game of basketball grew, and took me to Utah to play. Unfortanately, reoccurring back issues finally caught up with me and I was forced to hang up my sneakers. Told by doctors stop all physical exercise, I chose to use this set back to gain knowledge on how to fix myself. Changed my major to physical therapy, and begin the wonderful road that I have been on for the last 25 years. Now a family man, and proud father to two beautiful girls, I love to teach them about the body and see them excel in their passions. I use my knowledge and years of experience to assist my clients in reaching their goals. I understand pain, lack of time, and the challenges many face in life and help clients navigate those challenges to reach success. My two favorite quotes have to be; “One year from today, you will wish you started today!” and “If you want a change, you must create a change.”  I want to be that person to help you create that change.

Master Personal Trainer

NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, ONNIT Foundations, Flexologist Training program for Assisted Stretching. Before I started my journey in this profession nearly 6 years ago, I was a client. I was very active growing up, constantly climbing trees, swimming, skateboarding with my friends and building dirt jumps for our bikes in places we probably shouldn’t have. At the end of highschool, I got into resistance training and really wanted to continue to practice it. I enjoyed what I felt from working out and eating healthy foods, but struggled to get what I thought I wanted. I ended up working with a professional, a veteran in this field who was incredibly knowledgeable and made me realize there is a science behind this. I could start to see who the real experts were and got to experience a variety of fitness professionals who all taught different things and had their own approaches. These experiences inspired me to help others and it became my passion to learn, teach, move and create. My training philosophy is that if you can optimize your movement, you optimize your life. That is what I am here to do. As a husband and father of two (Parker 3 and Levi 1), I have continued to enjoy the evolving phases of life and genuinely love guiding others.

While attending UNLV, I spent majority of my free time on the basketball courts and in the weight room.
